It's been a good year. I feel like Ive improved quite a bit from my first project. This is my last one. The Grady Rap.

More on FL Studio 10

The defaults have changed. At least for me. They sound a bit off. I don't know if it was intentional or not, but its a bit weird. Here's a sample of the defaults now:

Today and last Wednesday, I spent some time just looking at FL Studio 10's new features.

The first thing I noticed as I played around with the defaults, is that everything looks better. A little shinier, a bit glossier... The piano roll looks especially nice.

As I put patterns in, it was a tad more confusing, because i was used to a column where i could put in individual patterns separately. But now, I have to switch to my pattern in the pattern selector and then click where i want it. A bit annoying, to be honest.

Next cool thing I noticed was the autosave feature when my computer restarted on me. Very handy indeed.

Fl 10

I'm starting the FL Studio 10 project. Today I messed around with some new features, and went on FL's home page to check some of the more subliminal changes.

Sequence

Difficult. I made the synth alright, but its pretty difficult to get a good little loop to go with it. This is what I had in the end.

Here is my short little XY loop. It took me a while to get sounds I liked, and here it is in the end. Nothing special.

Here is my Frequency modulation project. I had a bit of trouble making goood sounding sounds, so it took a while, and I made it into this small loop. Enjoy.

I try to keep things in my synths simple, which is why they're usually short, and get to the point. Just my style I guess

This project was cool, cause I made a whole bunch of strange sounds from a guitar pluck sounding one, to this weird, bubbly thing. Yeah

Well, here's what I've got so far. My creativity is having trouble with this right now. Feedback?

Update.

Well, right now I'm working on my Sytrus project, which is a lot of fun because I get to make a lot of ridiculous sounding songs. Here's what I have so far.

These are pretty cool synths, especially considering I made them. The one at the end that sounds all bubbly just sounded really cool, and I wanted to share it. I'm not sure it will be in the finished product.

I like how this sounds so far, but I'm gonna have to break up the vocals and guitar so it sounds more remixy. And the drums are a bit off in some parts.

Despite the lack of many vocals, I think that this is pretty good. For me at least. I dunno, I'll fix it up Monday

Revolution Remix

For this remix, i really liked the original guitsr and vocals, so i kept them in there, and didn't tarnish them with my own sounds. I changed the volume and automations of them, and moved them around, so i consider it a remix with no additional sounds. It probably won't be the best remix ever, but I dont think you can call it bad.

Remix Winner

Compared to all of ours, none of us had a chance when it came to the winner. Did you guys hear that? Most people would think that it is better than the orriginal. He did things as good as you could reasonably expect. All of that must've taken like, a week straight.
